Day 1: Arrival in Arusha to Lake Manyara
Arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and assist by Trails of Africa Safaris airport representative and after briefing, depart for Lake Manyara arriving for Lunch. After lunch enjoy afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is park well known for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. Lake Manyara, the shallow alkaline water mass named after the park, covers two thirds of the park’s total area of 330 Kilometers square.Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena lodge FB

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park- Ngorongoro crater
Breakfast at the lodge, enjoy game drive as you exit the park and head to Ngorongoro crater with packed lunch. Lunch at picnic site in the park. Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers the world’s largest unbroken caldera namely and the Olduvai Gorge, where Dr. Louis Leaky discovered the origin of early man by unearthing jaws of the Zinjanthropus man. The Ngorongoro Crater is a world heritage site offering breathtaking views of scenery and game can be witnessed from both the crater rim and within the crater floor. Its home to Zebra and Wildebeest, Elephant, Warthog, Impala and Buffalo.Afternoon game drive at the park, then exit the park and drive to the lodge. Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservancy to Serengeti:-Optional Olduvai Gorge Visit
Breakfast at the lodge then depart for Serengeti with packed lunch, optional visit to Olduvai Gorge-an archaeological site for the Leakey’s family. Lunch at a picnic site in the park.

Day 4 and 5: Serengeti National park (Two Full Days)
The next two days will be spent touring the endless plains of Serengeti National park abundant with wildlife. Serengeti National Park is an immense park and with its unsurpassed concentrations of wildlife and its vast endless grasslands offers the finest game viewing anywhere in Africa. In Serengeti ecosystem the annual wildlife migration, when over a million wildebeest and zebras flow south from the northern hills every October and November, cross to Masai Mara is unforgettable. Animals present include lions, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland, zebras, wildebeests, leopards, cheetahs, Serengeti’s essential features of climate, flora and fauna have barely changed in the past million years.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, leave Serengeti for Masai Mara with a parked lunch via Isebania Border where you will go through the immigration formalities. After the border, drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive and in the evening with a game drive enroute to the hotel. The jewel in Africa’s crown, Maasai Mara, is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife such as Lions, elephant, Cheetah, leopard, Rhinos, giraffe, gazelle, and zebras among others.

Optional Afternoon Visit to a Masai Cultural Village: This afternoon, we have an option of joining the Maasai dancers donning their African regalia and the jingling on their feet, flow by the rhythm of African beats and dance to their tunes that will leave you refreshed.

Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
A full day is spent game viewing and exploring this natural wonder with a visit to the Mara River where the wildebeest migration takes place. Here you can see both the hippos and the crocodiles that co exist in the same waters. The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular safari destination with its vast endless flat grassland crossed by rivers which play host to wildlife’s most spectacular moments; the Wildebeest Migration when vast hordes of Wildebeest roar through the park bringing in its trail a wake of mighty predators.

Optional Maasai Mara Balloon Ride: Enjoy early morning ballooning over the plains, getting a bird’s eye view of the game below as the sun creeps slowly over the horizon. After approximately one hour aloft, the balloon lands while a breakfast is being prepared for us nearby. The smell of bacon, sausages and eggs drift on the breeze as we sample exotic Kenyan fruits and homemade pastries and, if you wish, glasses of bubbly to toast our flight, a tradition initiated by the Montgolfier brothers.

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi-Evening Departure
After breakfast you have a game drive as you exit the park and we drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi, Have lunch and after lunch, shop for souvenirs before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time to check in for your return flight back home.
